    Job Description
    • Collect data of temples/ attractions from news/web articles and enter in excel or application
    • Identify, establish partnerships with local travel agents, tour operators in specified locations
    • Work with travel agents, guides to design tour packages to suit customer requirements
    • Work with travel agents, guides, car operators to make travel bookings
    • Coordinating with travel service providers to ensure that customers have a memorable experience on the tours booked through us
    Qualifications
    • Any Graduates interested in this Role (or) BA Tourism/ MA Tourism (or) any Tourism related qualifications from a reputed institution (or) 1 to 3 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry (tour operator, travel agency, Online Travel Agency etc.)

    • Contracting B2b Tour operators/suppliers and be fully accountable for negotiating rates, terms and conditions with them.
    • Negotiate special offers and exclusive deals with all suppliers/tour operators throughout the year.
    • Improve relations with suppliers and negotiate best market rates, address and resolve any issues with suppliers.
    • Contact tour operators and complete strong rates negotiation to guarantee competitiveness on the market and to gain an advantage on competitors involving negotiating rates (including conditions such as cancellation policy, inventory pricing, and payment conditions).
    • Owns revenue targets and pushes for them actively, should be comfortable with owning growth numbers of 20-50% MoM.
    • Closely monitor the tour inventory and work with all the relevant parties to stimulate growth of bookings, inventory and revenue.
    • Undertake ongoing analysis of product and quality within the contracting area to maintain consistent product offering for clients.
    • Monitor the team’s workload. Delegate and distribute any work as and when necessary to help with the team’s performance
    Qualifications

    • Responsible for conceptualization and implementation of product solutions and converting concepts into completion
    • Identify different channels of revenue generation and tap them to the fullest potential.
    • Emphasize on digital, social media and eCommerce areas with a deep understanding of business processes and IT environment in all these products.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with designers, engineers, and business leaders to clearly articulate the strategy for product.
    • Ability to work with technology teams to continuously improve existing products and features to drive higher conversion or engagement.

    • The position will convert sales by identifying the clients and travel agents needs through engaged, interactive relationship development and constant sales calls
    • The BDE will need to be organized and have strong follow-up skills in order to smoothly transition all queries into bookings.
    Job Responsibilities
    • Generating and increasing sales by interacting and building relationships with travel agents across South India through constant sales calls, email communications and follow-ups.
    • Educating the travel trade on our products and promotions, and generating and increasing sales of our travel packages.
    • Prime responsibility for all leads to be converted to bookings.
    • Reaching and exceeding sales objectives by converting prospects into sales with proactive follow-ups with the agent.
    • Providing support and inputs on developing marketing plans to increase market share.
    • Answering primarily agent inquiries by maintaining knowledge of key differences, promotional offers, marketing campaigns, product knowledge, and destination expertise.
    • Ensuring assigned agents receive accurate, timely, and quality information about the products we supply, overcoming objections by researching, evaluating, resolving or escalating as needed.
    • Preparation of marketing reports on marketing activities, market conditions, pricing, direction, competition, and distribution etc.
