Kochi beach is a beautiful beach which is situated in Ernakulam district in Kerala. Kochi is referred to as “Queen of Arabian sea “. It is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Kerala. It derives its name from Fort Emmanuel. Though the fort was destroyed years before but the name has been retained. Fort Kochi is a famous for its Beach and Chinese Fishing Nets. It is believed that these fishing nets called as Cheena Vala in Malayalam is introduced here by Chinese spice traders.
