Gurudwara Kila Sri Anandpur Sahib Fort is situated in Anandpur Sahib City in Rupnagar district. Among the devout forts by the Sikhs, the location is Khalsa’s house therefore making it more spiritual. The fort has Shivalik variety on one side and banks of River Sutlej on the other side hence forming a blue border. Bounded with thick walls, the fort has a special well having a steep staircase in it. It is believed that Guru Gobind Singh Ji invested around 16 years in this fort. One of the genuine beauties of the state of Punjab, the fort was transformed into the military headquarter under the leadership of Guru Gobind Singh. It was utilized for keeping the arms and ammos at the time of war. Anandpur Sahib Fort has an ageless appeal and rich history. Thus, it attracts a large number of tourists throughout the year. Hola Mohalla and Baisakhi celebrations are the best time to visit this fort.
