Also referred to as Ludhiana Fort, the Phillaur Fort was integrated in 17th century by the general of Maharaja Ranjit Singh on the banks of River Sutlej. Ludhiana’s most famous and historical traveler spot is now an authorities academy and is 14 KM far from the city in the town of Phillaur. The Phillaur fort is an architectural marvel hence attractive a great deal of visitors from away locations. Pir-i-Dastgir and burial places of Muslim saints can be seen in its properties. Britishers converted the fort into the Police training centre and currently it is inhabited by the Police academy of Punjab. Today, Phillaur Fort symbolizes the sign of bravery and a marvelous monolith of the past.
