QILA MUBARAK GURUDWARA FORT

Located in the city of Bhatinda, Qila Mubarak Fort is one of the leading most heritage traveler destinations in Punjab. Also, called Bhatinda fort, this prominent historical monolith was developed by Maharaja Ala Singh in 1764. Razia Sultan, the first and the only ladies ruler of India’s capital was imprisoned here. The fort has 2 main parts referred to as Qila Mubarak and Qila Androon. The Qila Androon was once the house of the royal family and looks beautiful with the mix of both Mughal and Rajasthani architectural designs. Qila Mubarak is among the highest forts and it offers an amazing view of the Bhatinda city from the top. It also functioned as the perfect guard for the town with strong walls, private architecture and big citadels. The fort protected the city from the enemy attacks. Due to its calm and peaceful environment, Qila Mubarak is really worth to visit, as the amazing charm makes you feel to be the part of the ancient era.
