Settled in all its natural charm, Chikhaldara is a famous hill station in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. Not just a place with natural serene surroundings, the hill station is known to have a significant mythological connection as well. The hill station is believed to have been named after a demon Keechaka, who was killed by Bheema, one of the Pandavas in the epic, Mahabharata. Other than this, the present phase of the hill station has different shades to display in its every fold.

The Chikhaldara hill station is located at an altitude of around 1118 Meters and is prone to be receiving a good amount of rainfall. Owing to such a topography and climate, the place has turned into a store house of pristine waterfalls, lakes and a majestic cover of greenery that is breathtaking in every sense of the word. And being a coffee growing region in the state of Maharashtra, lush green estates add to the perks of spending a holiday here.
