This historical palace built in 1910-11 by the British. This palace area is about 25803 Sq. Meter. When British bring the King Thiba from Bramahadesh, they shifted him in Ratnagiri and for the king Thiba the palace is built. Thiba king go to the palace for live in the year of 1911. After the death of king Thiba it will be taken by British again and it will be official of British officers. After the freedom, our governments 11 offices are live in this palace. The tomb of king Thiba is in the area of Shivaji nagar in city. In 1962, the separate residence is built for indian officers and after that government polytechnic is started in the Thiba palace.
