Sakkarbaug Zoological Park, also called Junagadh Zoo, is located in Junagadh district of Gujarat. It was opened in the year 1863 and is among the oldest zoological gardens of India. It is sprawled across an area of 210 acres. The endangered Asiatic Lions are found in this zoo. It is the fourth largest zoo in the country. Sakkarbaug Zoo is well connected via road. Sakkarbaug Zoological Garden also includes other species of animals like Panthers, Antelopes, Black Bucks, Blue Bulls, etc. It also has an aquarium where different species of fishes are kept.
