Langshiang Falls in Meghalaya are presumed to be the third highest waterfall in India. They are formed as a result of confluence of two streams of Kynshi river near Sangriang. This hidden gem is a mystery to tourists who travel the West Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya to look for this elusive waterfalls, believed to be sighted from Mawpon village. There are innumerable waterfalls flowing down the hills and terrains of Meghalaya, ranging from seasonal to perennial waterfalls.
