DACHIGAM NATIONAL PARK

Located 22 KM from Srinagar, Dachigam National Park is the Northern most placed national park and is spread over 140 sq. km. This national park is home to some of the most beautiful wildlife, which include musk deer, marten, snow leopard, and many more. One of the major attractions of Dachigam National Park is Kashmir stag or beautiful hangul. The national park is divided into two sections - upper and lower. Though the upper section is less accessible as compared to the lower ones, especially during winter months.
