Architecture

Garadia Mahadev Temple situated in Kota is dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the famous temples of Kota. The temple situated above 500 feet above the sea level over the cliff. The temple is very small and don't have much architecture. Next to the temple a small water stream coming down from a hole in stones and we could not identify or guess it’s location. The temple has got magnificent traditional history behind and also has got a great view of the beautiful Chambal river lining across the mountain cliff. The gushing wind around the temple gives an vibrant holy feeling of worship. The temple is closed after the sunset as it gets quite windy in the evenings but it looks spectacular during the day. The view from the cliff during evenings is splendid looks the whole city is adorned with beautiful lights.
