Architecture

Gupteshwar Mahadev Temple was named Gupteeshwar because of the Gupteeshwar temple coming out of the secret place. The surprising thing is that this pond situated in the fort on the top of the mountain never dries up in the hot summer of Burhanpur. A little ahead of the pond is the temple of Gupteshwar Mahadev. The temple is surrounded by trenches on all sides.

Religious Significance

While the Gupteeshwar temple of Charuva is a year old, a story is also prevalent that in particular in the temple, Bholenath himself came to the dream of a shepherd and said that there is a temple in Charuva that he got out. It is said that Lord Bholanath gave visions and said that Shiva is under the mound. In the morning when this thing spread to the village and not only the Shivling itself, the entire temple itself was manifested.

According to information, Lord Bhole has given a glimpse of the devotee of Swarnaar Samaj and said that the temple is buried under the hill. After this digging out the temple generated from Mahavivaratri is seen here.

History

This temple was built 500 years ago and Dosaur family is the contributor of this temple.
