Architecture

The temple is in pancharatha Rekha Deula style, while the Jaga mohan and Natamandapa are in Pidha Deula style. The idol of Jagannath called DadhiVanana was brought from the temple at Tikiripada and installed here. The idols from this temple were installed there. The entire temple was built with white-marbles sandstones along with yellow and red stones in the entrance.

History

Jagannath temple situated at Nayagarh was constructed in 1788 AD and reconstructed in 1808 A.D. then in 1972 by the local emperor of Khandapada.
