Goddess

Neemach Mata is the main deity of this temple, who is an incarnation of Goddess Shakti. This stone idol of the Goddess is 56 inch in height and 23 inch in width. The offer idol of Lord Ganesh is 22.1 inch high and 12.1 inch wide.

Architecture

One has to climb the whopping height of 850 meters to reach Neemach Mata Temple. The temple has both stairs and footways to walk up. One can have a panoramic view of the whole city and its lakes from the temple while climbing. There is also an idol of Lord Ganesha and three-side facing lions in the temple, which is about 22.1 inches and 12.1 inches wide. Outside the inner temple, there is a Hawan Kund, where Yojna is performed. This beautiful temple and the main stone idol here are known to have a connection with a Neem tree.

History

The temple is constructed in the year 1652-1680.
