Architecture
The temple was built in North Indian Style of architecture and the temple location is such that it is located at the intersection point of River Krishna and River Warna. This structure dates back to four centuries and has intricately carved designs on its wooden pillars and a number of smaller shrines around the main structure.
Religious Significance
The myth that Lord Ram during his exile days placed a Shivling at the confluence and worshipped it for a few days. This later became a spiritual point for the devotees. It is also believed that hand prints of Lord Rama can be still seen on the Shivling.
