Architecture

Siddheshwar Ratneshwar Mandir a beautiful Shikhar is about 9.14 mtrs high from the terrace level. The temple was constructed in Western Indian style of architecture and built with stone. The Gabhara which is an original construction which is 25x15 feet in area. Inside the Gabhara copper facial plaque of Lord Siddheshwar are placed on a pedestal and below this pedestal there is a small Kund where the Linga established. Sabhamandap is built on cement concrete having 18 big pillars. The Sabhamandap a later addition and capable of 3000 persons is open on the sides having only arch formation. On the other side of the entrance to the vestibule the idol of Lord Gajanan is fixed on the wall. This temple has a Temple Kund.

History

Siddheshwar Ratneshwar Mandir was built in 12th century by King Tamradwaj. This temple was renovated in 1988 and Basavanna's Veerashaiva is the contributor of this temple.
