- For men the dress code is Shirt & Trouser, Dhoti or Pyjamas with upper cloth.

- Shorts, mini-skirts, middies, sleeveless tops, low-waist jeans and short-length T-shirts are not allowed.
- The weather is cold throughout the year. Rainfalls and snowfalls often occur there. One should wear proper winter clothes with mufflers and gloves. An umbrella is also a must to carry.

Architecture
The architecture speaks of a predominant Greek (Hellenic) style. The temples have an abstract architecture and house fascinating sculptures of Hindu deities. While five of the seven temples are constructed on a common platform, the rest are based on one much higher than these. The complex consists of four large and three small temples. The main temple is 50 feet tall and is dedicated to Shiva, Ganesha, Vishnu and Parvati. The architecture resembles classical Kashmir temples.
Religious Significance
According to the legends associated with the Krimchi Group of Temples, Raja Kichak is believed to have constructed these temples along with the town itself. According to the Mahabharat, the Pandava brothers stayed here for a long time during their exile.
History
The temples are believed to have been built in the 11th and 12th centuries A.D. and are perhaps the oldest in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Although the temples in the complex are in ruins, they are maintained well by the Archaeological Survey of India. The temple is believed to be over a thousand years old. According to the Archaeological Survey of India these temples were constructed during 3000 BC. (inscribed on a board near the entrance of the complex). The temples were constructed in stages. It appears that temples No. 6 and 7 were damaged several centuries ago.
