Architecture
Temple has 3 shikaras and constructed in Kalinga architecture. There are 2 man made ponds within the premises of this temple. A small man made waterfall is built upon which an idol of Lord Shiva sits.
History
It is an ancient and historical temple, the exact date and construction of the temple was remains unknown. Surya Mandir is constructed by Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation Limited. Some of the singers who have visited the temple on the occasion of Chhath Puja are Suresh Wadkar, Sunidhi Chauhan, Monali Thakur, Sadhna Sinha, Devi, Anuradha Pondwal, Malini Awasthi, Tripti Sakya, Manoj Tiwari, and many others.
