PAVAGADH ROPEWAY

This ropeway is also known as the Maa Mahakali ka Udankhatola and helps the devotees to reach the Kalika Mata Temple in Pavagadh, Gujarat in no time. It saves the devotees from the hassle of climbing stairs to the temple and thus has gained a lot of popularity here. Pavagadh Ropeway Station is located on Pavagadh hill near Maachi haveli. Mahakali temple is at a height of 800 metres. If you are energetic enough to climb 2000 steps then its good or you can opt for Ropeway. For ropeway reach Maachi where you can get ropeway facilities. Buy ticket for ropeway and then reach near the temple. Cable car will drop you at a certain height. From there you still need to climb 250 more steps to reach the temple. Pavagadh Ropeway has a capacity to carry 400 people in 1 hour. Recently, provision has been passed to improve the capacity of cable car and to lead it further near the temple so you need to walk less.
