SAWATSADA WATERFALL

The Sawatsada cliff, from where the waterfall actually emerges is just 5 kilometers from Chiplun. One can watch this huge waterfall from the Mumbai-Chiplun road. The waterfall is thronged with tourists, especially on the weekends. In the rainy season, the fall of water is strong and one needs to be careful near this waterfall, as it could turn out to be beautiful. An approach way leads one to this waterfall, where a shed has been erected for tourists to stand and enjoy the view of the Sawatsada waterfall.
