Architecture

The main building consists of three domes at the top, two on both the corners and a big one in the middle with a red flag. The architectural design of the Durga temple is not usually found in a traditional Hindu temple. Statues of Lions on both the sides of the door of the main temple building are placed to welcome the visitors. Inside the temple, there is a large hall in which all the different forms of Goddess Durga is showcased in the form of amazing idols. All the idols are placed in a separate room-decorated by large Jhoomers-having a door on which beautiful carvings has been done of gold or silver. On the other side of the garden, there exists a sculpture of Demons being killed by Lord Ganesha. In an area of the garden, there exists a large scene of Lord Shiva calling Goddess Ganga which is a centre of attraction for the visitors.
