Architecture

The temple is facing in East direction and built in Rajasthani style of architecture. The very first thing that you see are the five rows of beautifully carved pillars, which divide the whole courtyard into three different segments. An array of beautiful ceiling paintings showcasing the various aspects of the Lord's life and the beautiful Rajasthani architectural designs and carving makes the complex look even more magnanimous. Beautiful pictures of all gods and goddesses on the walls. The temple is has a large premises with the main building enclosed by a magnificently carved Rajasthani style entrance with steep steps leading to temple courtyard. In the central courtyard a platform is built up lined up with three rows of richly carved pillars which support the ceiling which is also beautifully painted. Another small temple of another form of Lord Krishna Shaligram is also built up within the temple courtyard.

History

The temple was built in 1814 by Seth Shri Gokul Das Parik.
