Pilgrims/visitors will not be allowed inside the temple if dress code is not followed.

Architecture

The Rajagopuram was erected as a remembrance of the victory of Vijayanagar emperor over Sambuvarayars. The stone inscriptions in Rajakkal rock and Sarukum rocks mentions about administration and details about the land donations.

History

Sri Thadagapureeswarar Temple was contributed by Cholas. The temple gopuram was mutilated by Mughals.
