Veera Anjaneya Swamy is the main deity of this temple and here deity measures 24 ft tall, 12 ft wide and 4 ft thickness. The deity is carved with Black Stone Granite.

Architecture

Sri Veera Anjaneya Swamy has a 5 tiered Rajaopuram, Dwajastabham is placed infront of Rajagopuram.

Religious Significance

Three hundred years ago, a herder erected this shrine. Krishna Rao Deshmukh constructed the temple that we see today, approximately hundred and sixty years ago. People believe that if a woman performs a puja for forty days, in this shrine then she will be hallowed with the birth of a child. Preists perform yagnas everyday in the yaga shala. The Shiva Lingas that are found near the foot of Shiva are worshipped regularly with sandalwood that is removed annually.
