Architecture
Sri Venugopala Swami Temple is built in Vijayanagara style of architecture. Temple is a fascinating, sculptured wall with stucco walls. The temple has a Dhwaja Stambham and Koneru is located at temple courtyard. The space between the two half built walls was meant for Garbhagriha and the circle would have been the center of Sabha Mantapa.
History
The renowned Venugopal Swamy Temple was developed between the years 1726 to 1893 on period Raja Pittambhra Bairi Pida Nayak. From 1703, the Bedar Kingdom (now Bedar District) climbed and managed it up to 1858, with the last ruler being Nalvadi Venkatappa Nayak.
