Architecture
Shir Ambadevi Temple - Shir Ambadevi Temple inside the high walls of the temples,one can find a spacious hall called Garbhagriha. The Garbhagriha is split into three main arches with a sandstone idol of Goddess Ambabai, Lord Ganpati, Lord Mahadev, Lord Vishnu and Goddess Parvati. Depicting the importance of the temple is its beautiful walls, which are adorned with sculptures telling the tales of different Puranas. To reach this temple there are few steps.
Shri Ekvira Devi Temple - Shri Ekvira Devi centre area is the main Gabhara or Garbagriha, where Devi Ekvira’s idol is worshipped and there is a pure brass door to the Gabhara. The main Mandap is a twenty four pillared structure with beautiful pictures painted on the walls, the temple complex is bordered by a huge stone wall with many decorative arches. The main idol is made of silver and the platform on which Mata sits is also a silver coated one.
Religious Significance
King Bhishmak's daughter Rukmini fell in love with Lord Krishna after hearing the tales of His courage. However her brother Rukmiya, fixed her marriage with his friend King Shishupal of Chedi. It is said that Rukmini was kidnapped by the Lord just a day before her marriage to Shishupal, when she came to visit the Ambadevi Temple.

Shir Ambadevi Temple - Amba Devi temple was 1000 years old built by Shri Janardan Swamy and renovated in 1660.
Shri Ekvira Devi Temple - Shri Ekvira Devi Temple was built 1660 years ago by Paramhans Shri Janardan.
Threat during invasions : In 1500's time, the Mughals had occupied Vada-Hadda. Then they plundered many cities and Damaged, then destroyed many Hindu temples too. It included Ambawati's Ambadevi temple. The temple was destroyed, however it is said that the idol of the inner house and the image of Ambe remains safe from it.
