Architecture

Origin of the Name - The 'Ramling' name itself suggest that some thing related to history of Ram. As per the name, the place is situated with the hindu temple of Ram and Rambhakt Hanuman. There is something big story why the temple is situated here. In the past when Prabhu Ramchndra was seating for meditation there was big flood occurred on river Krishna. Due to this the meditation of Prabhu Ramchndra had disturbed. At the same time to avoid the disturbance, Hanuman spread his both hands and obstructed the flow of river and diverted the path of river water along the both side of his hands. This is an ancient heard story behind this. Due to this one island has formed, where water is flowing along the both hands of Hanuman and the Ram Temple is situated in midst of the river.

The temple has a 2 feet high plinth and 30 feet high, mortared brick pinnacle caps the entire 20 square feet temple chamber.

History

The temple was built by Antoba Naik Bhide in 18th century A.D.
