Japali is located amidst deep woods and a shrine of Lord Hanuman. Japali Maharshi did japa to please lord hanuman here. Hence it is Japali Teertham and Lord is Swayambhu Hanuman here. Tourists can also trek from the dense forest to reach this holy pond in Tirumala. Behind the main temple is a serene lake called Seeta Kund - Bliss indeed. It's considered that Devi seeta bathed here during Ramayana Era. That just adds mysticism to the place.
