Town Hall is considered as the first Town Hall of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Sri Kandukuri Veeresalingam Pantulu built this Town Hall in 1891 with his own resources. This place houses a library, which was visited by many national leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore, Bipinchandra Pal and Subhash Chandra Bose.
