This temple beholds the beautiful image of Venugopala Krishna, an eternally charming Lord Krishna holding flute at the reading position and his favourite pot of butter kept at the feet.
History
The poet and singer, sarangapani, has contributed more than 200 padams, in dedication to the Lord Sri Venugopala Swamy of Karvetinagaram. Kanchi Mahaperiyava, his holiness Sri Chandrashekara Swamy, stayed in Karvetinagaram in Andhra between March 1971 and August 1971. We can see the contributions of Vijayanagara kings also. This temple was built by the King Venkata Perumal of Venkataraja dynasty in 14th century, Vijayanagara ruler, in the early 15th century, in 2007 T.T.D undertook it.
